    Home /  About

Boys Town National Training is a team of dedicated, experienced educators working in schools to meaningfully improve student behavior, teacher skills and school climate. We provide a proven, student-centered Model that gives educators practical, real world skills they can use to build relationships, encourage prosocial behavior and teach social skills. Through on-site and online training, consulting and coaching, we work side-by-side with schools to accomplish lasting results.

Because schools struggling to reverse a rising tide of behavioral and academic challenges need us. We’re a mission-driven organization with nearly a century of experience working with high-need children in challenging environments.

Our mission began nearly a century ago when orphaned, abandoned and abused children were welcomed into a home with generous amounts of love, attention, patience and understanding. Through the decades, Boys Town grew and evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of America’s youth and families.

Built and refined on decades of research and experience, the Education Model provides a comprehensive approach to addressing the emotional, behavioral and social needs of students and our Expedition Literacy program provides a comprehensive approach to addressing students learning and literacy deficits. Implemented in every corner of the country, at every grade level, the Education Model is an intervention strategy that focuses on managing behaviors, building relationships and teaching socials skills. Its concrete strategies work with every type of student, in every type of environment.
Today, Boys Town is a national leader in the care and treatment of children. The Boys Town Education Model® is an extension of our organization’s philosophy of care and is used in education settings to create safer and more effective learning environments for students.
