Parenting For School Success Classes

Children struggle in school for many reasons, how can you help them improve their school success?

Parenting for School Success gives parents and caregivers helpful hints, effective strategies and clear answers to numerous school concerns. Everyone can learn additional support to help them improve their child’s school success.

The class consists of one 2-hour session weekly, for 6 weeks. During the 2-hour session parents and caregivers are taught how to use various parenting skills to encourage children and teens’ positive behaviors, discourage negative behaviors, and teach alternatives to problem behaviors in school. Each family receives a Common Sense Parenting book, parent-school success workbook, parenting skill card, social skill cards and weekly school tip reminders. And much more! After completing the workshop parents/caregivers receive a certificate.
