Child behavior is part of every school, early childhood center, classroom, and home. Young children can be impulsive and often lose control of their emotions. Being equipped with the right strategies to address behavior, connect with caregivers, and coach families can be the difference between a positive or negative culture in a school or early childhood center. This transformative training empowers early childhood educators to create the structure, support, and safety children need to learn and grow with confidence.

The Positive Foundations workshop introduces you to the key components of the Boys Town Education Model®, a school-based intervention program that provides all young children with the positive behavior support they need to succeed. Learn how to build and maintain positive relationships and an inclusive learning environment where young children follow instructions, share, and manage their emotions at a developmentally appropriate level and adults are consistent and on the same page.

Positive Foundations is ideal for professionals working with young children and/or their families in early learning settings. This training is beneficial for:

The WMS philosophy is great! It will definitely help reduce unwanted/inappropriate behaviors that students are exhibiting at a high rate since they returned from the pandemic/virtual learning.
